Cat-O-Lympics Curling Competition
We are very excited to announce we are participating in Fin's Cat-O-Lympics. Ambrose has been training all year long for the Cat-O-Lympics curling competition. Curling is a sport in which two teams of four players each compete in sliding large stones toward a mark in the center of a circle. Players use curling brooms to sweep the ice surface in front of the stone. The sweeping clears debris from the ice surface, and may warm the ice, to make the stone travel farther and to change the amount of curl or trajectory of the stone. Here is a picture of a curling competition. Ambrose is pretty confident in his performance, but he is a little concerned that Daisy the Curly Cat or some of the kitties from Curlz and Swirlz, Life with Cornish Rex Cats... might be competing too. Those kitties have some serious natural talent at curling. We can't wait to see who wins the medals and what Jim and Bob, the commentators at the Cat-O-Lympics headquarters at Housecat Confidential, have to say about the competition. Be sure to stop by Fin's blog, Housecat Confidential, and visit the links of the other cats and furries hosting and participating in the Cat-O-Lympics all this week.
