A Very Bad PurrFurMance Review
It's that time of year again for our staff's Annual PurrFurMance Review. This year's review included the bonus features of a verbal reprimand and the back of disrespect. We are very disappointed with our staff's purrfurmance this year. As you can see there are only 49 posts on our blog in 2009, and we admit it looks like Mommy was just phoning it in on a lot of them. Clearly, there is much room for improvement. On a scale of one to four paws, we give her one paw...(preferably on her face while she is trying to sleep). Despite the fact that Mommy has been a real slacker this year, she claims that there have been extenuating circumstances, and she promises to do better in the future. She will be finishing grad school in three weeks, and promises to spend much more time helping us blog after that. We have decided to keep her on as our assistant, but we will be keeping a very close eye on her. Clearly she needs much more snoopervision...we are sitting on her legs right now and are not going to let her up until she finishes this post to our satisfaction.
In other news, Ambrose received a package in the mail. It's a prize from The Casbah Kitten's Halloween Contest, and it was filled with all sorts of wonderful toys and snacks. Thank you to Jane and Alice and their Momma for the wonderful prize package. Here are some pictures of us playing with the amazing spider toy. The giant spider has fancy details like really cool little fangs, stitched on beady little eyes, and a red spot on its belly. Ambrose is also lying on a couple of the catnippy jelly beans they sent him. He may think he can have them all to himself if he lies on them, but those jellybeans are so irresistible that I'm determined to snatch one away for myself...and while I'm at it I'm going to go for the spider too.
Thanks to the lovely and talented Zoolatry for the great PurrFurMance Review graphics.

Well, at least you've given your mum something to work for next year! Enjoy those toys :)
Your Mom had lots of extenuating circumstances this last year. I am sure that things will get better.
Well, sometimes one has to be a little harsh to achieve results. We hear it's called "tough love." We're certain your Mom will do better in the future!
We're sure you should see an improvement pretty soon.
Oh we hope your mom can do better in the future...no pay increase for her this year!
We love that spider!!!
Oh, dear. Your poor human. She does have room for improvement. Perhaps 2010 will be a better year for both of you.
It's funny how they use such insignificant excuses like "grad school" or "jobs" to get out of helping us blog full time. Humans can be so frustrating at times...but I love them. I'm sure your mom will work hard to improve next year.
My Peoples are so bad about posting that a review is unnecessary!
Maybe next year -- IF they shape up!
Paws 'n Claws,
Rupert
Maybe by giving your staff a poor review, you could scare them into shape by world-wide-web humiliation?
I luf the idea of reviewing your staff, mabey I'll review them too!
*Danielle's staff shudder in fear*
MOL!
So sorry to hear about your human's purrformance, but at least she is planning to improve! We think that is worth a paw or two!
You were so lucky to win those toys from Jane and Alice! We love their stuff!
Looks like there is plenty of room for improvement on your Bean's review. You have to keep at them all the time or they soon start slacking.
That was a great prize that you won.
That's so sad that you had to give your mom a bad review. But I think Grad school is very hard so give her a second chance will ya?
PS LOVE the photos of you two playing with the prizes!
Uh oh! Your mom is going to have to work extra hard next year.
Poor Mom didn't get a good review but maybe she will work a little harder now. And just look at those wonderful toys you won. Congratulations. That is super.
At least the new year isn't that far off for your secretary to improve her skills. And, what a PAWESOME prize pack you got! have lots of fun!
Grad school is very time-consuming... and she has promised to pick up the blog pace. Couldn't you have managed 2 or 3 paws?
It is a very good thing for Mom we are NOT doing a review, considering how busy she has been these last few months. We'd barely be able to manage one paw for her.
Happy Thanksgiving!
