Okay, Grrreta, we voted for your friend.
We came by to tell you there are supposedly universal microchip scanners available today. We just wanted some validation on whether any actually work and which ones. You might check with your vet and local shelters again and see if things have improved there in the past 3 years.
Jan wanted the info because our shelter has a scanner (not a universal) but will not use it. So she says it is past time to publicize it and try to do something about it.
