On 10/04/08, Jan's Funny Farm posted an article about Carrol Crocker, a kind an generous woman living in Rainsville, Alabama who desperately needs homes for 64 rescued dogs. Carrol has spent the last ten years rescuing neglected, abused, and homeless cats and dogs in her rural farming community. The mayor and city of Rainsville, AL have now taken legal action to force her get rid of all but three. Homes must be found for the remaining 64 dogs before the city of Rainsville seizes and shoots them. If you wish to adopt or know someone who does, or can offer transportation or other assistance, please visit the links below to learn more about her story and how you can help. Always there to help, Jan's Funny Farm! We wish we could too - but we are in Arizona and don't know anybody in Alabama..... But we will send lots of purrs and hope for a good ending!

Oh, I wish I could help. Even though I'm not such a big fan of woofies, they all deserve to have long and happy lives with people who love them! Let us know how this pans out.
